With new generations, there will be more glass ceilings being shattered and more women feeling empowered enough to do the unexpected like joining a male-dominated field just to prove them all wrong!
The recent Women in the Workplace report by McKinsey and LeanIn.org showed that most women vying for leadership positions didn’t receive good mentorship and coaching from women in leadership positions in their respective fields. This is partly due to there being fewer women in leadership positions, but that number gets even smaller in the construction and engineering industry and even gets smaller still once factoring in women of colour.
We did this for you!
We see there is a huge problem for the professional and personal development of female engineers and health and safety professionals, particularly those aiming to become leaders in their respective fields. Our response was to start a coaching and mentoring academy with the sole aim of training, teaching and guiding women to capitalise on their strengths and values climbing the corporate ladder into leadership roles that they want.
Everyone needs a stepping stone to get where they want to go because no one island. Let us be that stepping stone for you.
Learn from Jessy
At our academy, you get to learn directly from our founder, Jessy Gomes, who has experienced many obstacles that women face while advancing in the construction and engineering field as both a woman and a mother. You would also gain knowledge from her inspiring story of thriving in a male-dominated industry, and you will develop skills that will better position you to take advantage of all the leadership opportunities that come your way.
